Two occupants of an Albany home have escaped unharmed after a stolen car crashed into a bedroom wall, writing off two cars in the process.
Police say the occupants of the stolen Holden Commodore fled the scene.
The rental property has been deemed unsafe and the tenants are now looking for a new place to live.
Dylan Moir was drifting off to sleep in his bedroom when he heard a loud noise, saw bright lights, and then watched the brick walls of his house crumble.
"I just saw the bricks start coming down and the window falling, I just got up as quick as I could," he said.
Mr Moir was one of two tenants at the home in Albany, in Western Australia's Great Southern, when a car crashed into the property overnight.
The police allege that shortly before midnight on Sunday, a stolen Holden Commodore left Middleton Road in the suburb of Mount Clarence and struck two cars that were outside the house.

Mr Moir was in bed in the front room at the time.
"I was just falling, like drifting off into sleep, and just heard like noise, just loud bashing, then I saw lights like headlights come through the window," he said.

After clearing the rubble away from the door, Mr Moir said he emerged from the house to see a neighbour hosing down the stolen vehicle which was upside down and on fire.
"I was just scared of finding dead bodies in the car," he said.
"There wasn't anybody in there, they'd run away.
He said he felt lucky to have escaped alive and unharmed.
The two cars parked outside the house took the brunt of the impact, and both were written off.
"If my car wasn't there, it [the stolen vehicle] would have just come straight through into my room and taken me out, so it saved my life," Mr Moir said.

Erin Eaton, who was in the back room of the house, said she heard the massive bang.
"I opened the door, which was jammed shut, so I kind of had to pull that open and was greeted with the car that was smoking and the neighbour was hosing off," she said.
"Then I kind of walked around in shock.
"Someone else that was driving down Middleton [Road] called the cops for us which was great."
Mr Moir said the community had been helpful.
"A neighbour gave us tea and gave us a hug," he said.
"There was an off-duty nurse around the corner who came around and checked on us."

However, Mr Moir said the incident was frustrating.
"Now we don't have any cars," he said.
Police confirmed the occupants of the stolen car fled the scene.
They urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
